The Locket Saga Begins with a Murder in 1753

Everyone in Boston knew that Drusilla Codman was unhappy in her marriage, however, no one had much sympathy for her since she had scorned her love match with Kanter Thorton to marry the wealthy former ship's captain, John Codman. Now Codman was murdered and Drusilla was the likely suspect. The only individuals in the community who believed that she could be innocent were Kanter and the young attorney named John Adams.

Is she really innocent and how can they prove it. If she is found guilty, how will her daughter, Rachel, be able to face the future knowing that her mother killed her father?
